About this role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you are responsible for researching, prospecting, and conducting cold outreach (calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging) to build the sales pipeline, and your sales funnel, to support the growth of our SaaS solutions and hardware products. You will play a key role in generating leads, qualifying prospects, and building relationships with potential clients both online and in person through various trade shows in North America. You will own the entire sales cycle and will be working to book, and complete 5+ demos a week, and win the business for Jubo. You will directly impact the growth of our business by targeting and generating leads to Long Term Care and Senior Care Facility Operators. You’ll collaborate with our team on targeted campaigns and innovative sales processes designed to build a strong customer base in North America.    

Experience selling SaaS Solutions and medical devices and technologies is an asset. We will provide in-depth training on our products, services, and the latest sales processes, and you will continuously learn about the high-growth senior care industry.    

Day-to-day job

  • You will conduct cold outreach (calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging) within your assigned region(s) and prospects to understand their business and look for opportunities to schedule meetings and demonstrations. 
  • You will use our CRM system to track progress, schedule activities, and document relevant information on prospective customers.
  • You will help prospects identify the need for change that will lead to increased quality of care and engagement for their residents and families.
  • You will contribute to prospecting, booking, and revenue targets.
  • You are often the first point of contact with our prospects, giving us the opportunity to establish a positive relationship and the beginning of a world-class customer experience.
  • You’ll take the initiative to research prospects before calls, look at profiles, websites and use any effective and efficient means to understand your prospect.    

About you

  • You have experience in cold outreach in SaaS or medical markets within Canada and/or the USA, preferably in Health, Long-Term Care or Senior Care.
  • You have experience using CRM systems and can optimize a state-of-the-art sales process. Experience using HubSpot is an asset. 
  • You are resilient and won’t let customer rejections slow you down. 
  • You have a passion for sales and learning what makes businesses tick. 
  • You consistently strive to improve yourself and find ways to develop professionally.

The Team

You will report to our National Sales Manager – North America located in Calgary, Alberta. You’ll be working alongside other SDR’s to meet our sales targets. This team model allows for a lot of collaboration, sharing stories and best practices. Our leadership style is based on an individualistic approach enabling you to succeed in this role and your career at Jubo.   

Location

Our North America head office is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a remote/hybrid position that resides in Canada. We currently have team members working in Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto. You will be required to attend meetings at the head office in Calgary periodically.

Compensation

The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary plus performance-based commissions and a benefits package
